The conference "Road to recovery: The future of the global supply chain" was held on September 27 in Belgrade, where participants highlighted that Serbia needs to cooperate with European countries and exchange experiences to overcome the global crisis.
The event was organized by the Chamber of Commerce of Serbia, the Italian Confindustria of Serbia, and the Slovenian Business Club to enhance economic relations between the three countries and take the transport, industrial, and logistics sectors to a higher level. The conference provided an open dialogue platform for over 120 companies in the field of transport, logistics, and other production sectors, representatives of the state, domestic and international institutions to discuss the challenges faced by the industry.

During the discussions, the representative of Srbija Kargo, Željko Tadić, director of the Traffic and Transport Sector, presented the problems encountered by his company, other railway carriers, and proposed solutions to overcome the challenges. The speakers at the conference stressed the significance of these conversations with companies and decision-makers as transport is the lifeblood of the economic system. They emphasized that overcoming the current crisis in the transport and logistics sector would help the entire economy to rebound from the pandemic and other challenges that have affected the global supply chain.
