EP Logistics International (EPLI) has announced another achievement in the quality of its products and services. In particular, EPLI's LokoTrain has been awarded the safety certificate for its area of operation in the Czech Republic, Slovakia and Poland by the European Railway Agency (ERA).

"It has been a long and demanding process involving a number of LokoTrain employees. I would like to thank everyone for their great work," says Ludvík Kobza, CEO of LokoTrain.

The company has also received certification for the maintenance and operation of traction vehicles (ECM). Such achievements are not only proof of the safety and high quality of the company's services but also its potential to take another crucial step towards maintaining the highest possible level of service.

The uniform safety certificate is obligatory for all railway undertakings whose activity comes down to transporting freight and/or passengers, irrespective of whether their activity is limited to providing traction only. The certificate is proof that the railway undertaking has established its safety management system and is capable of fulfilling its legal obligations.

It is issued and valid for a defined area of operation, i.e. the network or networks within one or more EU Member States where the railway undertaking intends to operate. In the case of EP Intermodal, its area of operation is the Czech Republic, Slovakia and Poland.
