Alstom has announced the appointment of Aymeric Sarrazin President of Digital & Integrated Systems, effective 1st February 2024, replacing Jean-François Beaudoin, who has decided to pursue his career outside of Alstom.

Sarrazin will report to Alstom CEO and Chairman of the Board of Directors, Henri Poupart-Lafarge, and will be part of the Alstom Leadership Committee. He will be based at Alstom’s headquarters in Saint-Ouen, France.

“I am delighted to be welcoming Aymeric to Alstom. His extensive experience in digital technologies, including cybersecurity and artificial intelligence, will bring Alstom a competitive advantage in responding to the rapidly evolving demand for digital solutions from our global customers,” said Henri Poupart-Lafarge. “I would also like to thank Jean-Francois for his outstanding contribution to Alstom over the past 16 years, and in particular shaping the Digital & Integrated Systems organization following the integration of Bombardier in 2021,” he added.

Sarrazin joins Alstom from Siemens, where he most recently held the position of CEO of Siemens Advanta, the group’s digital and sustainability transformation business. During his 12 years within the Siemens group, he held various regional and global leadership roles, based in China, the USA, and Germany, where he developed both his strategic skills and execution capabilities. He also acquired extensive experience in digital technologies, their business applications, and their transformational potential.
